How it works

Assumptions and limitations
- Unicode has no complete one-to-one superscript, subscript or small-cap alphabet, so some characters necessarily remain unconverted.
- Not every letter, digit or punctuation mark has a matching styled Unicode character; unsupported characters are left unchanged.
- Appearance and fallback glyphs vary with the destination app, operating system and installed fonts.
