Reverse character order in text.

How it works

  • The transformation runs over Unicode grapheme clusters where browser support allows, reducing the chance of splitting combining sequences.
  • For upside-down and mirror modes, characters are substituted only where a useful look-alike mapping exists.

Assumptions and limitations

  • Unicode does not contain a mirrored or upside-down equivalent for every character, so some characters remain unchanged.
  • The output is a visual transformation, not bidirectional-text control or typographic mirroring.
