Convert text/letters to NATO phonetic words and back.
How it works
- Encoding maps A–Z and digits to the NATO/ICAO spelling alphabet words; spaces become slash separators.
- Decoding recognizes the implemented spelling words and common Alfa/Alpha, Juliett/Juliet and Niner/Nine variants.
Example
- ABC becomes Alfa Bravo Charlie.
Assumptions and limitations
- The tool is a text representation aid; pronunciation and radio procedure are outside its scope.
