Text & Decimal Converter

Convert text to decimal character codes and back.

How it works

  • Encoding outputs each Unicode scalar value in decimal.
  • Decoding accepts decimal scalar values up to U+10FFFF and rejects surrogate values.

Example

  • “A” becomes 65 and “😀” becomes 128512.

Assumptions and limitations

  • These are Unicode code-point numbers, not necessarily UTF-8 byte values.
