Binary Translator

Convert text to binary and binary back to text.

How it works

  • Text is encoded to UTF-8 and each resulting byte is displayed as an 8-bit binary value.
  • Decoding expects byte values from 00000000 to 11111111 separated by whitespace, commas or semicolons.

Example

  • “A” is UTF-8 byte 65, so it becomes 01000001.

Assumptions and limitations

  • Binary output is UTF-8 bytes, not a single binary number per Unicode code point.
