How it works
- Enter source text or the encoded representation, choose the required mode where available, and select Encode or Decode.
- Conversions run locally using Unicode scalar values or UTF-8 bytes according to the mode shown by the tool.
Assumptions and limitations
- Decoding rejects malformed values instead of silently inventing replacement text where the engine can detect an error.
